After many Cake Tasting Tuesdays, we've finally picked out cake. Here's hoping The Cheesecake Store's wedding cake turns out as good as their samples. The cake will be white chocolate, raspberry cheesecake with fudge brownie crust and white chocolate truffle cream cheese frosting. Yes, you did consume calories just reading that last statement.
I like the simplicity of this cake and how it goes with the Art Deco theme. One of the bakers we tested suggested using ribbon to make the designs down the side. I like this because I could use cloth from the flowers...tying everything in together.

I did it! I got my wooden letter from Crafty Eddy and went to town with the little crystals. I used 4 bags of 16SS and 2 bags of 20ss. Though this doesn't show it yet, I did the front and the edges. I purchased the hot fix crystals, but couldn't get them to work. Instead, I used E6000 glue. That stuff is awesome, but careful how you squeeze the tube. I ended up putting holes in mine! Oops.
